Randy Harris, Esq.

Attorney

Randy Harris is a proud native Texan, born in Waco and raised on a farm near Hubbard. With a strong foundation in education and a passion for advocating for children, Randy’s journey has been one of service, dedication, and a commitment to making a difference in the lives of families.

Randy earned his undergraduate degree in History from Grand Canyon University and his Master’s in Secondary Education from Ottawa University. He later graduated from Baylor Law, where he honed his skills in legal advocacy. Before joining Thaler Law, Randy gained valuable experience in general civil litigation, which further developed his ability to navigate complex legal issues and advocate effectively for his clients.

Randy’s professional path began with a 12-year career as a high school history teacher in Phoenix, Arizona. He not only taught in the classroom but also coached baseball, football, and track, leaving a lasting impact on his students. Transitioning from teaching, Randy became a full-time strength and conditioning coach while running a successful private tutoring business. In this role, he collaborated with educators to create customized curriculums for children with special needs, further deepening his dedication to protecting and empowering children.

Randy’s personal life has also shaped his perspective and approach to family law. As a single father, he experienced firsthand the challenges of balancing parenting and life’s demands. Now as part of a blended family, Randy understands the complexities of co-parenting, step-family dynamics, and the emotional struggles families face. His insight and compassion allow him to connect with clients navigating similar situations, offering guidance rooted in empathy and personal experience.

Randy’s passion for advocating for children began early, stemming from a positive childhood encounter with the legal system that left a lasting impression. This formative experience ignited his interest in the law and planted the seeds for his lifelong commitment to standing up for those who need it most—particularly children.

Today, Randy combines his professional expertise and personal insights to provide exceptional legal representation for families, with a focus on protecting the well-being of children. His mission is to ensure that every child’s voice is heard and their best interests are safeguarded in every case he handles.

When he’s not advocating for his clients, Randy cherishes time with his family, including his five children and his wife, Angie, who he describes as his beautiful partner in life. A natural teacher at heart, Randy lives by the philosophy of Lao Tzu: “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day. Teach him how to fish and you feed him for a lifetime,” empowering families to build brighter futures through compassionate advocacy and legal expertise.
